Herbert G. Branham, 83, Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at The Medical Center-Albany. He was a member of Central Grove Baptist Church, a member of Beech Bottom Masonic Lodge, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by two children, Jody Woods and Freddy Branham and five brothers, James D., Billy G., Samuel, Terry K. and Donald S. Branham.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Branham, Albany; four daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jimmy K. Brown, Albany; Sandy and Rodney Castle, West Virginia; Trudy and Johnny Abbott, Byrdstown, Tennessee; Dody and Jay Hamlett, Alabama; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry and Alice Branham, Albany; David Branham, Byrdstown, Tennessee; also 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sexton and Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
