Abigail Tallent brought Elvis Presley to the stage for a first place win in the 15-18 division of the Lip Sync contest, with a performance of “Jailhouse Rock.”

Sarah Neal and Hannah Smith were the first place winners in the Open Group division of the Lip Sync contest when they did their version of the “Evolution of Dance” act with a medley of foot moving tunes.

Luis Quijano had nearly the entire Lip Sync crowd standing and cheering as he did a portrayal of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The U.S.A.” The performance earned him a second place finish in the 15-18 division.

Johnny Cash (Christian Derryberry) and June Carter Cash (Mariah Moons) did a good job of entertaining the Lip Sync crowd with the hit “Jackson”. The performance earned a first place prize in the 11-14 division.

John Capps, of Burkesville, took the stage on Friday night of the Foothills Festival. Capps was one of several musical events scheduled during the Foothills Festival weekend.

Cullen Cooksey, John Dylan Cooksey, Dannon Dalton, Bella Young and Addison Whittenburg filled the stage with”Walk This Way” to earn a first place award in the 5-10 division of the Lip Sync contest.

Brandy Carter and Cindy Cook came complete with Thelma and Louise t-shirts when they hit the Lip Sync contest stage to earn a second place finish in the Open Group division with the Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood hit, “Something Bad.”
