Lonnie Gale Owens, 52, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Jimmy D. and Barbara Ruth (Butler) Owens and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lynn Owens.

He is survived by two step-children, Regina (Adrian) Smith and Clifton (Tisha) Carter; his significant other, Becky Moon; three brothers, Earnest and Rex Owens, both of Albany; Verlan (Samantha) Owens, Somerset, Kentucky; seven step-grandchildren, Addison, Makayla, T.J. and A.J. Smith and Cameron, Pazleigh and Cady Carter and best friends, Jeff Jones and Kenny Myers, all of Albany.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 6, 2017 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Shelley officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
