Community Thanksgiving Service at Highway Nazarene Church

A Community Thanksgiving Service is to be held this Sunday evening, November 19, at the Highway Nazarene Church. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. the service will celebrate the blessings God has graciously given throughout another year.

Though each year has its share of sorrows and disappointments, the fact that we can gather together for worship indicates a number of blessings, among which are the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of our beloved nation.

The Clinton County Ministerial Association extends an invitation to everyone to come together for this time of focused gratitude.

Again, the service will begin at 6:00. Max Miller will bring the Thanksgiving message. He recently joined our community as the new pastor of Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church. A special offering will be received for the work of the Ministerial Association and the compassion ministries it sponsors. Food and fellowship will follow the worship service.

A Community Choir will provide special music. All choir members from local churches are encouraged to participate. A rehearsal is planned for 5:15 at the Highway Church. For any questions, contact Brother Michael Cooper at the nursing home.

As members of the Family of God, let us come together for worship, fellowship and ministry to one another.
