Howard Butler, 79, Albany, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Medical Center-Albany. He was the son of the late Love and Allene Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Butler; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia Butler and Tony Albertson; Carol Ann and Rodney Stearns; Sherry and Roger Owens, all of Albany; four sons, Hank and B.J. Butler, both of Albany; Jeffery Butler, Texas; Todd Butler, Monroe, Tennessee; three sisters, Maxine Conner and Janet Mercer, both of Albany; Ina Hicks, Monticello, Kentucky; also 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bros. David Stearns, Donnie Shelley and Michael Allen officiating. Final resting place in Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
