Danny A. Guffey, 70, Albany, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at VA Leestown Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He was a member of Peolia United Methodist Church, a Vietnam veteran and a former employee of the City of Albany Water Department.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Guffey; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Darrell and Tammy Guffey; David Wade and Vicki Guffey; Robert Dean and Rosalee Guffey, all of Albany; a step-son, Kevin Lee Atkins of Indiana; two sisters, Glenda Prater, Indianapolis, Indiana; Barbara Jane and Jesse Tapp, Lewisburg, Kentucky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Adalynn Guffey, Albany; Bobby and Janell Guffey, Indiana; also six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns, Bro. Gene Gresham and Bro. Bruce Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
