Violet Sue Spaulding, 80, Covington, Kentucky and formerly of Burkesville, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Otis and Arnie Flo Claywell Pharris.

She is survived by two daughters, Mona Lewis, Glencoe, Kentucky; Cynthia “Rene” Guenther, Hebron, Kentucky; a son, Scott Lewis, Florence, Kentucky; two sisters, Maggie Claywell, Louisville, Kentucky; Thelma Irwin, Albany; also 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 26, 2018 at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Hebron with a graveside service Saturday, January 27 at Booher Cemetery in Cumberland County.
