The Kentucky Association of Counties awarded Clinton County Senior Felipe Lopez-Jacinto a check for $100 for his artwork that will be used as the August entry for the KaCo calendar.

Jacinto’s drawing, titled “Clinton County Hwy” was drawn off the theme “My County” that reflects something about each student’s county they reside in. Jacinto was one of thirteen students in the state of Kentucky whose original artwork was chosen for this year’s calendar. According to Scott Martin, Director of Member Services for KaCo, Jacinto’s artwork will be seen by some of the most powerful and influential government offices in the State of Kentucky, including Governor Matt Bevins.
