The Highway Nazarene Church Teen Bible Quiz Team competed at the fifth Kentucky District Teen Bible Quiz of the season on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Summersville Church of the Nazarene. Ten teams from both the novice and experienced divisions competed in a complete round robin tournament. The Highway team was undefeated on the day, and was 1st place in the novice division and the 1st place team overall. Individually, Eli Rains was 2nd and Ethan Rains was 6th. Eli, Ethan, and Mattie Honeycutt also earned spots on the district all-star team that will compete at the Top Nazarene Talent at Trevecca Nazarene University in April. The teams are coached by Teresa Scott and Ammie Marcum.
