Albany United took 13 teenagers comprising three teams to the district qualifier in Summerville, Kentucky over the weekend. Each team competed in 10 rounds of quizzing for one of 16 spots in the qualifier.

Albany United A, which included Silas Melton, Jonathan Wells, Malachi Upchurch and Christopher Couch, placed first as a team in their division. Additionally, Silas Melton, Jonathan Wells, Chris Claborn, Casey Shelton, Bri Sparks, and Dylan York made the top 16 and the qualifier.

The qualifier was a six round event. Silas Melton, Chris Claborn and Bri Sparks made the district team and will be representing the KY District at Trevecca Nazarene University in April.

The Albany United quizzers and coaches would like to thank everyone who supports Teen Bible Quiz. Quizzing is an awesome teen ministry that encourages teenagers to read, study and memorize God’s word. These teens enjoy fellowship and fun with other Christian teenagers all revolving around a Christ-centered competition. We are thankful for all who participate and support such an amazing ministry.
