The Clinton County boys’ freshmen team won the freshmen district tournament Saturday under the direction of Coaches Storm Burchett, Jared Bertram and Nick Irwin. Clinton County defeated Russell County in the opening round, 45-40, and defeated Metcalfe County in the championship game, 57-30.

The freshmen boys will receive their trophy at the conclusion of the boys’ district championship game on Friday, February 23.
