Petty Officer Third Class Brett Conner, son of G. Paul and Kathy Conner of Albany, Kentucky, graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School at the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, South Carolina on August 12, 2011.

Having undertaken what is widely acknowledged as the most demanding academic program in the United States, designed to challenge the best scholars in the nation through military protocol and academic rigor, Conner graduated in his class of 366 sailors with distinction.

His diploma was presented to him by Captain Eugene P. Sievers, Commander, Submarine Squadron 6.
