George “Bobby” Brummett, 76, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday March 25, 2018. He was a U.S. Army veteran, son of the late James Clifton Brummett and Euria Riddle Hale and was a member of Amandaville Christian Church and served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Grider Brummett, Burkesville, Kentucky; a sister, Lois Louise Drake, Louisville, Kentucky; half-sisters, Everett Jr. Hall, Shepherdsville, Kentucky; Larry Hale, Jeffersonville, Indiana; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Rev. Paul Patton and Rev. Joel Patton officiating. Final resting place in Grider Family Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
