Rosa Ellen Conner, 99, Grider Hill Dock Road, Albany, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ewell B. Conner, daughter of the late Richard and Lela McWhorter Tallent and was a charter member of Aaron Chapel Separate Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by three grandsons, Greg and Bobby Conner and Gary Davis.

She is survived by four sons, Keith, Kenneth B., A.V. and Ewell Conner, Jr.; two daughters, Jean Stearns and Gay Davis; also 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Aaron Chapel Church with Revs. Jerry Ridge, Clifton Cowan and Jim Simpson officiating. Final resting place in Conner Family Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
