Clinton County High School 2018 graduate Carly Upchurch, daugher of Adam and Pattie Upchurch, was one of 15 recipients from across this region who has earned a scholarship from Bluegrass Cellular.

This initiative supports local, college-bound high school graduates and annually awards $22,500 in scholarships to help local students further their educations.

“It’s always gratifying to directly help students reach their career goals, and this year’s students are certainly deserving recipients,” said Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bluegrass Cellular. “Thank you to everyone who applied, and congratulations to the 2018 honorees! We wish all of you the best of luck in your future endeavors.”

The Bluegrass Cellular Scholarship Program is offered on an annual basis. Recipients were chosen based on their academic achievements, school/community involvement, scholarship essays, letters of recommendation and financial need. All scholarship winners live and attend high school within Bluegrass Cellular’s 34-county home-service area.
