Rondal “Chicken” Lloyd, 67, Glasgow, Kentucky and a native of Cumberland County, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Roy Lloyd and attended Glasgow First Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; his wife, Betty Gray Lloyd; two sons, Wayne and Doug (Suzanne) Lloyd; a daughter, Aimee Greer, all of Glasgow, KY; five brothers, Franklin Lloyd, McQuady, KY; Don Lloyd, Glasgow, KY; Terry Lloyd, Columbus, IN; Michael and Jerry Lloyd, both of Union City, Indiana; two sisters, Linda Thomas, Tulsa, OK, and Carol Stapleton, Union City, IN. Local survivors include his mother-in-law, Elsie Gray; special niece, Renee Polston; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Polston, Geneva (Freddy) Matthews and Mary (Paul) Harris; three brothers-in-law, Don (Dean), Kenny (Lois) and Billy (Vanessa) Gray, all of Albany; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 1 p.m. at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with final resting place in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Arrangements made through A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home of Glasgow, Kentucky.
