Pedestrians in Albany are going to find that getting around town will eventually become a lot smoother, but at least for a short time, a little inconvenient.

A construction crew working with the Kentucky Department of Transportation has been busy working on several areas of sidewalks in Albany, currently along East Cumberland Street, where they are replacing the sections that end at the adjoining streets.
This photo was made Tuesday morning as the workers formed up areas where removed concrete would be replaced at the intersection of East Cumberland Street and Spring Street.
