Clinton County Fiscal Court met in regular session last Thursday evening, July 19 with only five court members present. Both Clinton County Judge/Executive Richard Armstrong and magistrate Patty Guinn were absent for the approximate six-minute session, which had a very limited agenda.

The court members selected magistrate Hershell Key to chair the brief session in the judge’s absence.

The court first acknowledged receiving the monthly, quarterly and year-end treasurer’s report, as well as voting to forward the quarterly report to the Department of Local Government for approval.

The court also voted unanimously to approve fund transfers and pay the monthly claims and bills.

With no further issues to be brought forth and no public comments made, the meeting was adjourned.

The next regular meeting of Clinton Fiscal Court is scheduled for Thursday, August 16 at 5 p.m.
