Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous group meets each Monday and Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Albany. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to address their drug and alcohol problems.
AA / Al-Anon meetings
AA and Al-Anon will be meeting each Thursday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the basement of the First Christian Church.
VA officer available

Historical Society to meet
The Clinton County Historical Society will meet at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at the Clinton County Community Center, 200 Spring Street. Lisa Coffman, a professor at California Polytechnic State University will address the meeting on the Jerome Boyett–Willie Winningham saga. Ms. Coffman will be in the area doing research for a book concerning the Boyett lynching and the Winningham family. The meeting is open to the public. Ms. Coffman is interested in meeting and speaking with anyone who has knowledge of the event and/or is acquainted with members of the Winningham family. Anyone who would care to meet with Ms. Coffman may call 387-4525 to schedule a time on September 8 or 9.
Middle School SBDM meeting dates and times
The Clinton County Middle School Site Based Decision Making Council has set the third Monday of each month at 3:45 p.m. for their regular scheduled meetings.
School board meeting
Clinton County Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting Monday, September 12 at 5 p.m. at the Central Office board room. The meeting is open to the public.
Fiscal court to meet
Clinton County Fiscal Court will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, September 15 at the judge/executive’s office conference room at 5 p.m. The meeting is open to the general public. 47-2

VFW and American Legion will meet Saturday, September 10 at 1 p.m. at the Post Hall on Hopkins Street. All members are urged to attend.

The Clinton County Retired Teachers will be meeting at the Somerset Learning Center on Tuesday, September 13 at 5:30 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend.

Living Well With Diabetes Classes offered
Living Well With Diabetes classes will be offered Wednesdays, Sept. 14, 21 and 28 from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Clinton County Health Department.
