Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin has appointed Sarah Beth Huff Guffey to a state advisory board, according to a press release received by the Clinton County News last week.

Sarah Beth Huff Guffey, of Albany, a deputy clerk with the Clinton County Circuit Court, has been appointed to the Kentucky Animal Control Advisory Board.

Guffey will represent the Kentucky Farm Bureau and serve for a term expiring February 26, 2022.

The Animal Control Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture relating to animal control issues, evaluates applications for disbursement of animal care and control funds, establishes shelter standards, and creates training programs.
