Odell Ayers, 69, Albany, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence. He was a former deputy sheriff with Sheriff Gordon Speck, husband of the late Janice Ayers and was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ayers and two brothers, Rommie and Ricky Ayers.

He is survived by four sisters, Lynn Ayers; Becky (Richard) Marcum; Shelia Massengale; Lisa (Bill) Shelton; also several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Stearns and Bro. Bob Thrasher officiating. Final resting place in Pennycuff Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
