It was a busy weekend on both area lakes for the final holiday of the 2011 tourism season, the Labor Day weekend. A large group of boaters were spotted near Shear Pin Pass on Dale Hollow Lake Sunday, enjoying the warm temperatures and at the time, the sunny skies. This group in the foreground were combining two pastimes, boating and football, passing the football from boat to boat. Lake Cumberland will be the stage for one final push to the 2011 tourism season with this coming weekend’s Poker Run.
