The Clinton County Football team traveled to Adair County Friday night to take on the 3-A team in what turned out to be a non-productive night for the offense.
Clinton County lost the game, 56-0, and put number three in the loss column. Friday night’s game makes the second time this season the Bulldogs were shutout on offense. Wayne County defeated Clinton County during the season opener, 49-0.
The Bulldogs will be home this Friday night as Casey County comes into town.
The last meeting between the two teams came last season at Casey County. Casey County won the game 52-6.
During the 2009 season, the matchup against Casey County was one of the two games Clinton County won. Clinton County shutout Casey County 24-0 at Bulldog field under the direction of Head Coach Jamie Miller.
Friday night’s kick off is set for 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for tailgaters.
