Last week the Clinton County News traveled to Boston, MA, to one of American’s oldest ball parks, Fenway Park. Clinton County News Reporter/Photographer Brett Gibson is pictured with his wife, Joanna Gibson, along with the Clinton County News, at Fenway Park. The park is home to the Boston Red Sox and Thursday, September 1, 2011, the Red Sox hosted the New York Yankees. Subset within the photo on the bottom right is a photo of the digital scoreboard. In the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Sox were down 4-2 with the bases loaded. Adrian Gonzalez was up to bat and had a full count with two outs. He watched the final pitch cross the plate for a called third strike. Boston lost the game 4-2.
