Betty Jean Piercey Ferguson, 83, Richmond, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. She was a native of Albany, daughter of the late Robert Chester Huddleston and Ruby Piercey and was also preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a step-sister.

She is survived by a daughter, Carole (Duane) Porter, Fountain City, Indiana; a son, Dan Ferguson, Richmond, Indiana; three grandchildren, Danny Ward, New Castle, Indiana; Tim (Mendy) Ward, Ankeny, Iowa; Aimee Dean, Richmond, Indiana: also 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson and a sister, Wilma Walters of Straughn, Indiana.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 7, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, Indiana at 2 p.m. with burial in South Mound Cemetery. Visitation was the same day from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com.
