First & Farmers National Bank announces promotion of Shannon Roeper

First & Farmers National Bank recently announced the promotion of Shannon Roeper to Vice President/Assistant Bank Manager/Loan Officer. The announcement was made on behalf of First & Farmers National Bank’s Board of Directors by Bank President & CEO, Steve U. Morgan.

Shannon Roeper looks forward to taking on these new responsibilities as she continues to assist customers with all of their lending needs. “Words cannot express the gratitude I have to be given this opportunity. I take great pride in my job. I am truly blessed to be able to work for such a great organization that has been so good to me,” stated Roeper.

Shannon was born and raised here in Albany and is a 1998 graduate of Clinton County High School. In 1999, she joined Citizens Bank of Albany as a teller, but soon found lending to be her calling, eventually becoming a loan officer. Shannon completed two years of KBA Banking School in 2015. Shannon volunteers every year at the FFNB-sponsored event “The Pumpkin Patch” during the Foothills Festival. Her husband, Doug, is a long-time employee of American Woodmark in Monticello. Shannon and Doug recently celebrated 20 years of marriage and are the proud parents of son, Noah (16). They are active members of Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Shannon is an avid outdoors enthusiast and recently completed her first duathlon.
