What a difference a few hours makes . . .
Things can certainly change in a few short hours during the Foothills Festival, and the above photo is a good indication of just that . A street full of empty chairs were photographed early Saturday morning as lip sync fans began claiming their chair spots early Friday evening, in anticipation of the Saturday afternoon event. The photo on page 1 of this week’s Clinton County News, gives a different look for the same area, as the chairs were filled and even the adjoining sidewalks became standing room only early Saturday
Above, Abby Tallent’s portrayal of “I Need a Hero” earned her a first place finish in the Lip Sync 15-18 division Saturday. She brought Army Veteran Ed Mills to the stage to represent her “hero.”
Dannon Dalton, Addison Whittenburg, Bella Young, John Dylan Cooksey and Cullen Cooksey earned the first place win in the Lip Sync 5-10 age division with their ZZ Top performance of “Sharp Dressed Man.”
Dixie Guffey’s “Hold the Drama” performance by JoJo Siwa earned her a second place finish in the Lip Sync 5-10 age division.
Michelle Avery became Chris Stapleton singing “Broken Halos” in the Lip Sync contest to earn a second place win in the 19 and over division.
