A new entertainment feature this year for the Foothills Festival was the storytelling series that was sponsored by the ClintonCounty Community Foundation.

The actors for the series of stories told on stage are also involved with the neighboring Pickett County, Tennessee Good Neighbors Theatre.

Above, Donovan Hatfield and Chris Dickens are shown during one of the presentations, “Speaker Interrupted” on Friday afternoon.

At left, Clinton County Community Foundation Chairperson Kathleen Booher was on hand to introduce each storytelling event dressed in full civil war era attire.

The stories told during the weekend were adapted from the writings of Randy Speck and featured on his blog, The Notorious Meddler.
