Al A. Albertson, 71, Portland, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born to the late Ernest and Kimbell Riddle Albertson. He worked at Union City Body Company for 40 years, loved fishing and was an avid hunter. He served in the U.S. Army and was a UAW Local #94 member. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Albertson.

He is survived by a son, Al E. (Kathy) Albertson, Kent Store, Virginia; a daughter, Jessica Mullens, Union City, Indiana; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings, Julie Waid, Albany; James Earl and Horace (Pat) Albertson, Stendal, Indiana; Irene (Bud) and Joyce (Danny) Abston, Albany; Christine Fuller, Jasper, Indiana; Earstine (Tommy) Smith, Larma, Indiana; Ronald G. (Deidra) Albertson, Albany; former wife, Shirley Albertson, Union City, Indiana; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Reichard Funeral Home in Union City, Indiana with final resting place in Lisbon Cemetery with Military Honors. Online condolences may be made at www.reichardfh.com.
