Golda Bernice Pierce, 83, Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne.

She was a native of Albany, born to the late Robert C. and Vida H. Melton, and graduated from Clinton County High School in 1955 and Fort Wayne Commercial College in 1961. She worked as an Engineer’s Assistant for 34 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret “Maggie” (Terry) Karst, Churubusco, Indiana, Connie (Steve) Alles, Monroeville, Indiana, and Debra Pierce, Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Danny C. (Donna) Melton, Donnie Melton; a sister Margie (Bobbie) Graham, all of Kentucky; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Mungovan Simple Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen or to the family in care of Margaret Karst.
