Roxie Eva Brown Amonett

, 87, of Creed Huddleston Lane in Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2019 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

She was born January 25, 1931 in Albany, Kentucky to Stanley Oliver Brown and Ellen Pyretta Latham Brown.

She was a member of the Byrdstown First Baptist Church, where she was a previous Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a retired school teacher and homemaker.

Roxie is survived by her husband Eugene “Gene” Amonett of Byrdstown, Tennessee; two sons: Jeff Amonett (Paula) of Byrdstown, Tennessee and Trent Amonett (Maria) of Pullman, Washington; sevengrandchildren: Bailey, Brianna, Gage, Olivia, Jacob, Jonathan and William. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Ellen Brown; two sisters: Faye Rich and Sue Harrison.

Funeral Services wereheld Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Byrdstown First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Amonett and Bro. Ivan Raley officiating. Burial was in the Amonett Cemetery.
