Lois Haddix 1.psd

Lois Haddix, 83, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at her home in Berea, Kentucky.

She was a former Clinton County High School girls’ varsity basketball coach, as well as a history and health and physical education teacher. She also taught in the Madison County school system for over 30 years.

She is survived by her daughter Lora Elizabeth Haddix; one brother, Lowell Thomas (Mary Ann) McCollum; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Vergil Haddix; one son, John Roberts “Rob” Haddix; brother, John (Helen Lear) McCollum, Jr.; four sisters, Ruth Edna McCollum, Norma McCollum (Hubert) Robinson, Mary Elizabeth “Lib” McCollum, and Dorothy McCollum (John) Caldwell.

Funeral services wereFriday, January 11, 2019 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Burial was in the Berea Cemetery.
