McKenzie Moreland

McKenzie Moreland, age 7, Albany, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 as the result of an auto accident. She was the daughter of David and Amanda Moreland, who also died in the accident.

She is survived by two sisters, Halee and Saddie Moreland, both of Albany; two half-sisters, Krista and Katelyn Moreland, both of Burkesville, KY; maternal grandparents, Steve Walker, Burkesville, KY; Janet Pierce Walker, Byrdstown, TN; maternal great-grandparents, A.L. and Betty Sue Pierce, Byrdstown, TN; also an uncle and two aunts.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Story Cemetery in Byrdstown, Tennessee. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.

David Moreland

David Moreland, 36, Albany, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 as the result of an auto accident. He was the husband of Amanda Moreland and father of McKenzie Moreland, who also died in the accident.

He is survived by four daughters, Halee and Saddie Moreland, both of Albany; Krista and Katelyn Moreland, both of Burkesville, KY; a brother, John Moreland, Albany; also several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Story Cemetery in Byrdstown, Tennessee. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.

Amanda Walker Moreland

Amanda Walker Moreland, 25, Albany, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 as the result of an auto accident. She was the wife of David Moreland and mother of McKenzie Moreland, who also died in the accident.

She is survived by two daughters, Halee and Saddie Moreland, both of Albany; two step-daughters, Krista and Katelyn Moreland, both of Burkesville, KY; her father, Steve Walker, Burkesville, KY; her mother, Janet Pierce Walker, Byrdstown, TN; two sisters, Rachel Horton, Byrdstown, TN and Courtney Smith, Tompkinsville, KY; maternal grandparents, A.L. and Betty Sue Pierce, Byrdstown, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Story Cemetery in Brydstown, Tennessee. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
