Clinton County’s Jackson Harlan has had a big past few days on the hardwood.

On Monday night of this week, as the Bulldogs went up against South Warren in a game played in Bowling Green, Harlan netted his 2,000th career point as a Bulldog.

The basket came with 2:35 showing on the first quarter clock in the game against the Spartans.

In doing so Monday night, Harlan became only the second Bulldog to score 2,000 career points, joining former Bulldog standout Keifer Dalton, who finished his Clinton County career in 2016 scoring some 2,158 points.

Last week, the 4th Region Coaches Association released its decisions on the 4th Region All Season team selections, and not only was Harlan named to the first team selection for the 4th Region, he has been named the 4th Region Player of the Year.

The selections were made through voting and rankings by coaches in the 4th Region.

Harlan will be recognized during an awards ceremony in Diddle Arena on March 2, during the 4th Region Boys’ Championship game.

Congrats to our own Jackson Harlan, who has signed to continue playing basketball after graduating this spring from Clinton County High School, next putting on the red and white uniform of the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers.

The following is the total listing of the first, second and third team player selections for both the boys’ and girls’ 4th Region All Season teams, as well as the choices for the respective Coach of the Year in each division.
