Clinton Grand Jury convenes for February term

The Clinton County Grand Jury convened on Thursday, February 14 and handed down the following indictments in open circuit court.

* Jeremy D. Wright, the alleged offenses of: wanton endangerment first degree; obstruction/interference with an officer; discharge firearm/another device across public road; possession of animal/fur-out of season; illegal take/pursue deer/turkey; entry on land to shoot/fish/trap without consent, first offense; theft of identity; terroristic threatening third degree (two charges). All of the offenses having occurred on or about November 17, 2018.

* Justin T. Stapp, the alleged offenses of: operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for DUI; speeding; criminal mischief third degree; reckless driving; fleeing or evading police first degree; wanton endangerment first degree; failure to maintain insurance; three counts of persistent felony offender. All the offenses having occurred on or about January 17.

* Chad L. Scott, the alleged offenses of failure to signal; possession of a controlled substance first degree; no registration plates/receipt; possession of a controlled substance not in original container; failure to maintain insurance; operating a motor vehicle under the influence; failure to use seat belt; disregarding a stop sign; no/expired registration plates. All the offenses having occurred on or about December 2, 2018.

* Charles Livingston, the alleged offenses of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (two counts) and two counts of persistent felony offender first degree. The alleged offenses having occurred on or about May through June 21, 2017.

* Rebecca Richardson, the alleged offense of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (two counts), the alleged offense having occurred on or about May through June 21, 2017.
