Shelby McWhorter, 72, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and a native of Albany, died Friday, February 22, 2019, in Danville, Kentucky.

He the was the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Ellen McWhorter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sonita Jo McWhorter.

He is survived by one daughter; Jammie (Buddy) Creek, of Mt Washington, Kentucky, one son, David (Jennifer) McWhorter of LaGrange, Kentucky.

He is also survived by a sister, Anna (Gayle) Little of Louisville, Kentucky and four grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, February 25, 2019, at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Burial was in the McWhorter Cemetery.
