The Highway Nazarene Church Teen Bible Quiz Teams competed in the seventh and final Kentucky District Teen Bible Quiz of the 2018-2019 season on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Summersville Church of the Nazarene. Two teams from Highway Nazarene Church competed in the round robin tournament with other teams from across the state.

The Highway Hooligans team was the second place team overall on the day and brought home the trophy as the #1 experienced team for the season. Highway Hooligans is comprised of Eli Rains, Ethan Rains, and Shaun Radford. The Highway Hippies team earned third place overall on the day and was the #2 novice.

Individually, Eli Rains was second, Kane Cross was fourth, and Ethan Rains was eighth. Kane, Eli, Ethan, and Shaun will continue quizzing until April when they will represent the Kentucky District on the All-Star teams at Top Nazarene Talent at Trevecca Nazarene University.

The teams are coached by Ammie Marcum and Teresa Scott. The quizzers have studied the book of John this year. The next season will begin in July, when we will be studying the books of Hebrews and 1 and 2 Peter. Thanks to Bro. Bobby Grant and Highway Nazarene Church for supporting this ministry.
