Mary Helen Brown Armstrong, 68, Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Gayron Charlie Brown and a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Barry Dustin and Allen Mark Armstrong, a daughter, Cheryl Armstrong and a grandson, Ricky Davis.

She is survived by her mother, Walena Mae Dalton, Albany; her children, Teresa (Ricky) Davis, Vince Armstrong (Pamela Guffey), and Angela (Greg) Brown; their father, Bobby Gene Armstrong; a daughter-in-law, Pam Armstrong, all of Albany; a brother, Dannie (Cindy) Brown, Muncie, IN; a sister, Deborah (Gene) Ferguson, Albany; grandchildren, Joanna (Chris) Piatt, Nicole Phillips and Ashley and Nicholas Armstrong, Jessica and Dustin Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Taylor Madison, Cheyenne Gabbard and Emma Davis; step-grandchild, Sharla Brown; step-great-grandchildren, Caleb Brown and Amelia and Navaeh Dicken; and special friend, Lisa Lee.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Armstrong and Bro. Larry Martin officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
