During last week’s KHSAA Sweet 16 Boys Basketball State Tournament at Rupp Arena, Clinton County News Editor/Publisher Al Gibson, right, was recognized by the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) as the 2019 Recipient of the Lifetime Acheivement and Service Award. Gibson, shown above with the 2019 KABC Court of Honor inductees, just finished his 40th season of volunteering as the Clinton County High School basketball public address announcer. Gibson was nominated for the award by members of the Clinton County High School athletic department.
