Ruth Ellen Troxell, 77, Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was the wife of the late Clyde Troxell.

She is survived by five daughters, Deborah Posey, Knoxville, TN; Judy Thomas, Albany; Flora Alice Coffey, Peggy Holden and Ruth Anna Troxell, all of Monticello, KY; three sons, Clyde Troxell, Jr., Somerset, KY; Gale and Daniel Troxell, both of Monticello, KY; a sister, Shirley Slaven, Jamestown, TN; a brother, Larry Coffey, Monticello, KY; also 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Hickey and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Mitchell and Bro. Noah Broughton officiating. Final resting place in Elk Spring Cemetery. Arrangements made through Hickey and Son Funeral Home of Monticello.
