FFA scores big at regionals

Clinton County FFA represented well at the Lake Cumberland FFA Regional Competition on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Several students compete in a variety of different contests. (Contests are scored as superior, excellent, good, and fair. Superior first and second move on to compete at the State Competition.)

Floral: Jaden Mullins (Good)

Fruit & Vegetable: Taylor Cross (Excellent)

Greenhouse: Chance Roberts (Excellent)

Horse: Victoria Honeycutt (Excellent)

Poultry: David Gray (Superior)

Nursery: Hailey Cole (Superior 2nd)

Small Animal: Emma McClellan (Superior)

FFA Creed: Abbi Young (Superior 2nd)

FFA Quiz: Makenzie Cope (Superior)

FFA Talent: Brennan England (Superior 3rd)

“We were fortunate enough to have two individuals qualify for the State Competition, this will take place in June at the KY FFA State Convention in Lexington, KY. Huge congratulations to Miss Hailey Cole (Nursery) and Miss Abbi Young (FFA Creed) on an amazing accomplishment,” FFA Advisor Ben Prewitt said.
