Nelda Sue Matthews, 70, Churntop Rd., Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of Peolia United Methodist Church, wife of the late Charlie Wayne Matthews and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Matthews.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Suzy Matthews, Cookeville, TN; Tom and Michelle Matthews, Albany; three sisters, Judy Wood, Barbara Copeland and Linda Crouch, all of Albany; two grandchildren, Rachel Cross and Kyle Matthews; also several special nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns and Jackie Flowers officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
