Turnovers … by Alan B. Gibson

Roundball came to a screeching halt

Murray State men lost.

Louisville men lost.

Kentucky women lost.

Louisville women lost

Kentucky men lost.

We’ve still got four days of what should be quality college basketball in front of us with the Final Four women’s play winding up on Friday and Sunday and the men’s likewise on Saturday and Monday.

Not sure I’ll watch a single game, although I will perhaps, maybe, if it’s raining outside, watch the Auburn – Virginia matchup Saturday afternoon. Go SEC.

Kentucky’s loss Sunday set me back with a little case of the Blue Flu for the rest of the afternoon and most of Monday.

But with the word Monday of Coach Calipari being offered, and accepting, a lifetime contract to finish out his coaching career at UK (terms are for at least the next 10 years on the bench), I began to feel a little better and already I’m looking forward to next year and a successful run to the 2020 Final Four and Championship claim.

Roundball may be over for awhile, but there is plenty of other outdoor activities to keep us busy.

Okay – it’s April, time to stretch a little.
