The Albany Lions Club recently served the community by purchasing six HP Chromebooks for the students at Albany Elementary School.

The check was presented to Tim Armstrong, Principal of Albany Elementary School on Monday, April 15, 2019.

Completion of this Lions Club community project benefits our entire county by providing some much needed Chromebooks to Clinton County, elementary school-age children.

Chromebooks are utilized by all students to provide them with academic support.

According to Lions Club President Tammie Conner, “Lions members thank everyone who contributed to this important work. Through your support at our annual pancake breakfast, our club was able to fund this project. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community. The need of more HP Chromebooks at Albany Elementary School is great and more help is required. We urge every community organization to help provide them with more HP Chromebooks.”

The Albany Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Horseshoe Grill. Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
