James Bradley “Brad” Franklin

James Bradley “Brad” Franklin, 65, of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home.

He was the son of the late James Douglas Franklin and Hilda Cary Franklin. He was a member of Highway Church of the Nazarene and had attended Casey Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He had worked for many years as a truck driver for McWhorter Trucking and M & M Trucking.

He is survived by two sons, Zachary Franklin and Nick Thrasher (Bethany) and one daughter, Tori Franklin all of Albany, Kentucky.

Also surviving are: four brothers, John Franklin (Tonya) and Joe Franklin (Cathy) of Marrowbone, Kentucky, Cary Franklin (Elaine) of Franklin, Indiana, and Mark Franklin of Newberry, South Carolina; three sisters, Sue Parker (Timmy) of Dubre, Kentucky, Crystal Garmon (Charles) of Marrowbone, Kentucky and Sandy Hoots of Auburn, Kentucky.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kylie Beth Thrasher, Drake Thomas Thrasher, and Caleb Nicholas Thrasher all of Albany, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service: was held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Bobby Grant and Bro. Barry Craddock officiating.

Cremation was chosen and interment of the cremains will be in the Franklin-Davis Cemetery.
