Clinton Grand Jury indicts Points on 17 charges

The Clinton County Grand Jury convened on April 11 and returned open indictments in circuit court against four individuals, including one person facing 17 total charges ranging from misdemeanors, to traffic charges, to felonies.

Michael D. Points, 36, was indicted for the following alleged offenses, all having occurred on or about November 25, 2018.

* Trafficking in marijuana, less than eight ounces (Class A misdemeanor); possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor); possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor); motor vehicle insurance to be in paper or electronic format; reckless driving; failure to maintain insurance (Class B misdemeanor); failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation (Class B misdemeanor); failure to use seatbelt; failure to give right-of-way to emergency stopped vehicle (Class B misdemeanor); careless driving; speeding; operating a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration of or above 0.08 or while under the influence of alcohol or other substance; possession of a controlled substance first degree, cocaine (Class D felony); trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, second offense (Class C felony); promoting contraband first degree (Class D felony); persistent felony offender first degree (two counts).

* Kirensa Dishman, 42, the alleged offenses of criminal trespass third degree (misdemeanor) and possession of a controlled substance first degree (Class D felony). The alleged offenses having occurred on or about October 13, 2018.

* Jacklyn D. Bell, 39, the alleged offenses of possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor) and possession of a controlled substance first degree (Class D felony). The alleged offenses having occurred on or about October 29, 2018.

* David Harding, the alleged offense of flagrant non-support (two counts), the alleged offenses having occurred on or about October 25 through April 2019 and May, 2018 through April 2019.
