Clinton Grand Jury returns several indictments

The Clinton County Grand Jury convened on May 9, naming some eight individuals in several true bills that were returned in open circuit court.

The following indictments were returned during the May grand jury session.

* Tyler White, 33, the alleged offenses of assault-second degree, Class C felony; resisting arrest, Class A misdemeanor; assault-third degree (on a police officer), Class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor; wanton endangerment first degree (of a police officer), Class D felony; and three counts of second degree persistent felony offender.

The alleged offenses occurred on or about the dates of March 27, February 25 and February 14.

* Joni G. Roberts, 39, the alleged offenses of trafficking in a controlled substance-first degree, first offense, Class C felony; possession of a controlled substance first degree, Class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor; possession or use of radio capable of sending or receiving police messages, Class A misdemeanor.

The alleged offenses occurred on or about April 8.

* Jeremy Adam York, 39, the alleged offenses of operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for DUI (aggravated circumstances), Class D felony; fleeing or evading police-first degree, Class D felony; speeding (traffic violation); wanton endangerment-second degree (of a police officer); disregarding stop sign and reckless driving (traffic violations) and three counts of first degree persistent felony offender.

The alleged offenses occurred on or about April 22.

* Sharla Brown, 34, the alleged offenses of trafficking in a controlled substance first degree-first offense, Class C felony; possession of a controlled substance first degree, Class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor.

The alleged offenses occurred on or about April 11.

* Joey Duvall, 39, the alleged offenses of receiving stolen property, Class D felony and persistent felony offender second degree.

The alleged offense having occurred on or about March 12.

* Nathaniel L. Davis, 23, the alleged offenses of operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for DUI (aggravated circumstances)-first offense, Class A misdemeanor and operating a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration of or about 0.08 or while under the influence of alcohol or other substance-fourth offense, Class D felony.

The alleged offenses occurred on or about February 15.

* April Plank, 23, the alleged offense of receiving stolen property with a value above $10,000, Class C felony. The alleged offense occurred on or about March 12.

* Teresa McIver, 42, the alleged offense of theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $10,000, Class C felony. The alleged offense occurred on or abut January 10.

* Elizabeth Parker, 32, the alleged offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500 but less than $10,000, Class D felony. The alleged offense occurred on or about February 9.
