, 77, of Albany passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Medical Center-Albany.

She was the wife of the late Payne York, and a member of Albany United Nazarene Church

She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery “Jed” York, and two sisters, Nita Conover, and Nell Stockton, and two brothers, Gordon Wade, and Gene Wade.

She is survived by three daughters, Pam (John) Crabtree, Monticello Kentucky, Tammy York, and Renee York; one son, Scott (Mirenda) York, all of Albany.

Other survivors include a best friend, Maudie Marcum; one sister, Ruth Buster, of Albany; one half-sister, Virginia Booker, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Joyce York, 10 grandchildren,, 10 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, May 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Albany United Church of the Nazarene, with Bro. Tim Parson and Bro. Prentes Evans officiating. Burial in the Cartright Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the church after 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Albany United Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of arrangements.
