, 74, Louisville, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011. He was the son of the late Warren and Louise (Perdew) Denney, a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church in Clinton County.

He is survived by a step-son, Mitchell Gist; a brother-and-sister-in-law, Barbara and Holland Wells; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany. Nunnelley Funeral Home of Louisville, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements.
