, 93 of Burkesville, Kentucky. passed away on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 at Cumberland Valley Manor.

She was the daughter of the late Archibald Griffiths and Nellie Wilson Griffiths. She was a member of Branham Grove Baptist Church, where she had served as President of the Woman’s Missionary Union, and had served with the Hispanic Outreach Ministry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Milie Garner, and one brother, Howard Griffiths.

She is survived by seven sons, Gary Garner (Linda) of Louisville, Kentucky, Glenn Garner (Patricia) of Burkesville, Kentucky, Gene Garner (Patty) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, David Garner (JoAnne) of Burkesville, Kentucky, Gay Garner (Karren) of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Jay Garner (Sherry) of Albany, Kentucky, and Milie Garner, Jr. (Rita) of Burkesville, Kentucky; one sister-in-law- Marilyn Griffiths of Yuma, Arizona. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 17 step great-grandchildren, seven step great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Branham Grove Baptist Church in Burkesville with Bro. Gene Garner and Bro. Dale Rose officiating. Burial was in Branham Grove Cemetery.
